No. But it is scheduled to arrive in port around the 18th to the 20th so it could be on the same ship.
Did you find out the ship's name from the dealer?

Yeah, but It may have been something to do with the European Delivery program, my dealer got an e-mail letter with my boat information and forwarded it to me, and a few days later it arrived at my house in the snail mail. According to what I just read on the ED forum, BMW should snail mail me a letter telling me what ship my car is on. But as you say, that's probably just a convenience for the ED folks. I probably won't know.
In Florida, we almost have a mini-autobahn situation. If you are going 80 in the right lane of the interstate, count on having company 2 feet behind your rear bumper.
That's why I went with the 545i. The inline 6 doesn't cut it out here. It's simply survival of the fittest.
And I plan on doing more than just surviving!

Someone i know once referred to his minivan as "Hey it'll do 80 mph right?"

But with the 545i once you floor it at 80mph you'll be over 100mph passing the tailgaters quite effortlessly.

On a side note with the clock ticking down, i wonder how many 545i's will be produced for the US total and what day the last batch of 545i's will be built, 7-30-05?

BMW should've had the 4.8 V8 in the E60 from the get-go! Ahhh...The thrill of the hunt!!!

The 545i will be produced into August. My dealer didn't get a notice yet from BMW telling him when to stop taking orders on the 545i.

I ordered mine on 6/21 and am supposed to get it between 8/15 and 8/22. 2006 530xi coming to Denver COlroado. and yes---the wait does suck.

I talked to my dealer today, and he told me that he'd heard that the first run of the 550i would not be available in a 6-speed manual (an essential element for me). He had not been able to confirm this rumor. He did say that the computer would let him build one, so he's not quite sure. He'll know more when they get their September allotment.

That page is for 2006 prices, so judging by that, the 06 M5 is $81,895

Dealer confirmed for me that 6-speed manual will NOT be available in the September builds of the 550. I guess they get to hold my deposit for another month. (sigh....)
