Which tires does your E90 come with?

First time poster here...

Just wanna get a sense of stock E90 tires across different countries...

It comes with ContiSportsContact2 SSR in Hong Kong, is it the same in other countries? Or is it different from dealer to dealer? Thanks.

My 330i with sport package has Bridgestones.

My 325i with sport ha Pirellis...........

thanks for your replies, may be those E90 produced in South Africa comes with conti then. the E90 in HK are made in SA...

325 without sport came with Bridgestones... They feel excellent, great gripping power!

325i w/SP and I've got Pirelli's.

Mine 325i with sport pkg came with Bridgestones

Potenza's (Bridgestone's) in California

Bridgestone Potenza's were on my 325i Sport ED bound for AZ.

I got Bridgestone Potenzas on my 330i 162s.

...OK, this was dorky. But it just strikes me funny (and a bit scary ) that the "give me the cheapest tires you have as long as they're round" tires on my Probe are the same model as the ones they're putting on the 330i.

You know what else is scary? One of the run flats will cost more than the KBB trade-in value of my Probe.

It depends on which factory your car is built in & which tires they happen to be mounting at the time of your car's assembly. Very random.

My UK spec 330i with SP has Michelins. No racing for me then!

yea that sounds right, cos my e90 is made in SA and Continental seems to have run flat tires only in SA.

You guys over in the UK are getting the BEST tires.
Geez, instead of asking to swap clear headlamp assemblies while I was in Munich,
I should have drove to the UK and asked for a tire swap!

My comment referred to the US Grand Prix fiasco! The Bridgestone runners were fine, but the Michelin runners could not race. It seems most E90 owners in the US have Bridgestones from the comments above. I'm really pleased with the Michelins, they are awesome. I'm sure they won't explode if I attempt the banked corners of Indianapolis at 155mph!!!!!

Yeah I know....I was being facetious.

I LOVE Michelin tires! If you look back from season to season, Ferrari's always the one with the tire problems (Bridgestone).

Haha..don't worry. They just cannot handle over 300km/h (~186mph).

Bridgestones just don't warm up as fast as Michelins...

So which tires are better? The Bridgestone's or Pirelli's?

no but seriously, I had Pirelli's on my Thunderbird several years ago
& they were AWESOME! I don't have much experience with Bridgestones...

My car comes with Bridgestone RE050A runflats and I am in Hong Kong so not all Hong Kong cars have Conti!
