Sparkling Graphite with which trim?
Walnut or Poplar? I have black leatherette so when i looked at the walnut, it was hard to distinguish the color of it. I think the lighter poplar might look better with the dark leatherette. what do you guys think?

Definitely a matter of personal preference. I happen to like the burl walnut - its darker colors don't make the grain look quite so busy. That said, either will blend well with black. To me the black interior is about the only interior to nicely compliment any of the three trims.

Graphite or Mystic Blue
I selected Sparkling Graphite with Gray interior and poplar trim. Saw it on lot and it looks nice. Now I read Mystic Blue will be available in Sept. (have contract for xi) and wondering if same interior with the blue will be better. Input appreciated.

I would recommend that you take Burl Walnut to match a Black interior.
I have seen an E90 that is SG/Black/Burl Walnut, and I couldn't stop drooling. I think Burl Walnut blends in nicely with Black, while at the same time easy to distinguish by its glossy touch. Poplar looks great with a Grey interior, IMHO. It can still work with a Black interior, it's just that it does not blend in very well..... but if you like that type of contrast, go for it.

I have Spark. Ggraph./Black Leather and Poplar trim. My sister has Black Saph./Black Leather and Burl. trim. I personally think both look great. I like the extra grain and contrast in the Poplar, but the Burl. does "blend" a little better since it is darker.

Forget the wood, and go brushed aluminum. If you insist on wood, I think the Walnut looks best. I don't like it when wood contrasts with the interior color.
