I drive shone on Nav Display, but the "button" stays on the radio - not center console.
Did your dealer indicate engine specifications?

@ Brian: Just the 3.0 diesel will have more power (14 horses) - that might not be interesting for you guys in the US. All other engines stay the same. Additionally there will be a 2.0i with 6cyl. and 150 hp.

@Patrick: You should see the optional 19'' - great !!!

Pricing? And will this be from the factory or as an accessory that the dealer adds on and paints?

That's the same X3 that showed up in "sort of" spy photos a couple of weeks back with black masking tape on the bumpers. Same color even. Same rims and I remember spotting the "///M" logo on the those rims. But I don't understand the point of an "M" packge X3 withouth any increased performance.

Prices here in germany will rise between 500 to 1400 €.
And some optional things will also have slightly higher prices.

But I don't think that BMW will rise prices in the US, because the Euro is pretty low so export has become cheaper.

This M-package is optional and will come directy from the factory.

It doesn't get a boost in performance because it isn't an ///M car. The "M" package they are refering to is sometimes called the M-technic package or "M sport" package on other models. Essentially it is a cosmetic package that in the case of the 3 series included a slight suspension upgrade.

As for the ///M logo on the wheels, those are every where. Even the M68 wheels that have been put on almost every 330 with SP for the last few years had that lable. I am not sure what the point was in putting in on the standard wheel.

As for the apperence, it makes the car look almost like a British Bull Dog.

In my opinion, I think the original Aero Kit looks more "M"!

The M-package is like I wrote it before - optional - !

Bluck plastic bumpers will stay for standard.

How much will it cost? Is it an accessory? Can I order it for my 2005 for the same price as on a 2006 and will it come painted?

I think it adds alot to the looks of the X3...especially the painted bumpers.

Much better than the horrid "M" whatever package on the e90.

Just got off the phone with my dealer and he said that this is the new sport package. So I think that this means that there will not be 2 separate sport packages, and ///M and a regular sport, just this new package with body color fenders.

Wahooo! That means that my October ED will be with this body style!
