You may want to search for posts by marinakorp - IIRC, he lost 1hp after installing the PowerChip Gold on his '99 540iT... Marinakorp's experience may have been an anomaly - just thought I'd share.

wow good to know how wrong it can go. too bad he couldn't do without the car, I would have liked to see that ecu problem resolved and his dyno Looks like I'll be the one to step up to the plate and post those dyno's...unless someone else has already done it

I'm going to hold off on the s/w (like I do with every other thing I want to get ) for now.

Hey don't get me wrong, I love a good road kill. I give you props for killing that G35, but damn, go easy on the guy. Anyhow, personal opinion, DINAN is the way to go. I got a dinan chip in my car, and it makes a huge diff. There is a problem I ran across recently though, my car won't pass smog. I don't know if I can blame the chip for this, but its the only thing I can think of. I have a new exhaust system on my car including the O2 sensor. If anyone can offer some advise, I would greatly appreciate it, oh and sorry for the deep psycological mumble jumbo I left before, maybe I was having one of those sympathetic moments or something. I guess I just don't see the G35 a good enough opponent.
