Question Any folding seats standard?

I know you can get the split fold down seats with the Cold Weather Package, but are any folding seats standard without that package? If I do not have the Cold Weather Package will the rear seats not fold down at all?

Regards,
JK

They are available as a stand alone option as well. But I'm not sure how often they come from the factory that way. Could be that you would have to do a custom order, if you'd be willing to wait.

Ahh, nevermind. I just did a better search for my question and got my answer. No rear folding seats whatsoever without the Cold Weather Package.

Link I'm referring to

I don't have the cold weather package and as far as I can tell my rear seats don't fold down.

JKim, where is 'somewhere cold' - in the States, by chance? BMW markets their options differently in different countries, but here in the US, the BMW brochure for the new E90's lists split fold-down through-load rear seats and ski bag as BOTH a stand alone option and part of the Cold Weather Pkg.

This very well could not be the case where you're from, though.

Not true - at least for the 3. The brochure is clear folding seats can be ordered as a standalone.

I was searching for E90s with Split fold seats and my SA must have pulled up 5 or 6 cars, all in production. These cars with the fold downs are all going to Hawaii. We ended up locating one with the fold down seats that is pretty loaded and already on the ship. So I ended up getting it. I think you will be hard pressed to find this option, but if you do, your other options may be severe limited as they usually come loaded to the hilt with options. Either that or custom build one yourself and play the waiting game!

Folding seats and ski pass-thru are standard in Canada.

Thanks for the correction. After checking the website again it looks like folding rear seats are a standalone option. Guess I should have done my homework a little better.
