6 Series
The BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations. |

So.. the only 2006 650 hitch seems to be Comfort Access?
Well..
Looks like full steam ahead on the 2006, the only hitch seems to be the actual availability date of the Comfort Access feaure. It's not listed as an option (yet?) Does anyone know the untold story here? |

I don't know how official any of this is, but this is what I was told by my dealer yesterday. Comfort Access will be available on Convertible models prior to Coupe models in Europe, but the US market did not wish to stagger roll-out of C/A so they have simply held back the option until it can be available on both Coupe and Convertible. No firm date, but it "could" be as late as March. This didn't make a lot of sense to my dealer either and he didn't have a good "why," but he was simply passing along information he heard. I don't think he's leading me astray intentionally, but I have no idea if the information he is getting has any validity either. Just thought I'd pass that along.
For me, Comfort Access is a nice feature but not a deal breaker and certainly something I can live without. I went ahead and spec'd my 650i Coupe. |

Dunno why you would want a fancy cruise control in SoCal, but yes!! I can't wait for SMG (need to have it now) abd my source from BMWNA has informed me that the Comfort access for 6er will not be available for MY 2006 but there "MIGHT" be a possibility for a late 2006 Build, but don't bank on it.
cheers, beewang
