timing belt/chain maintenance Question
Hi all,
I'm about to buy a 93 318is in california. I'm wondering what is the recommended mileage at which the timing belt or chain should be changed? the cars got 107k. Also, it has an oil leak which seems to be coming from the sump plug but also somewhere around the tranny/motor. Are these cars known for say crankshaft oil leaks or tranny leaks? i've got to make a decision today on this so appreciate your feedback Ian
