Floor Mats
I was wondering if the 525i comes with Floor Mats as standard.....
I didn't see it listed on the spec sheets. Thanks. |

I thought I didn't have floormats but I stand corrected. They are so flimsy and cheap-looking, I mistook them for cheap carpet. I will cover them with some better ones from Walmart, about $20.

I got it on August 1st. But no ED price. I ordered from my dealer. Your dealer should know within a day or 2 exactly when it will arrive. 3 weeks ago my dealer told me the date and he was off by one day! It was on his computer. The car is great. Now I have severe parking lot anxiety! Afraid of that first ding. You'll love it when it finally arrives. Hang in there! Last edited by hpowders; 08-04-2005 at 04:23 PM. |

If your sales associate is good, he'll BUY them for you. They do not come with the car and that's a shame on BMW - to have the audacity to charge $170 for floormats on an almost 60K car. Here in Germany you don't even get the actual DVD for the NAV. You have to buy it, so after you spend $1600 for the NAV and $1000 for the HUD you still have to fork out $200 for the DVD.
That's also a shame on BMW. Yeah, I know, when you're buying a DVD player at Best Buy, you don't get movies, but I'm not buying and DVD player - I'm paying $2600 for a navigation systen that doesn't friggin' work as delivered, and that, boys and girls, is absolute BS and we should not stand for that. I HIGHLY recommend the all-weather BMW front mats...even if you live in sunny California....they hold a ton of dirt and are much easier to clean than the carpet mats. You just hose them off and dry with a towel. They run about $48 for the front pair and they're made in England (how cool is that?) You could probably get your CA to get you a discount on them in your local BMW parts dept.
