645ci Sales Event

I just received "645ci Sales Event" advertising postcard from one of the local So. Cal. dealers in the mail today. They were advertising Coupes and Convertibles, over 35 available. Also low lease rates etc.

What gives with the 645? Just 11 months ago when I bought my 645 you could barely get them for sticker. What a diference a year makes. Looks like the 650 is really softening the 645 market.

Anyone have a better/different read on this?

Crevier in Santa Ana. Sorry but I actually tossed the flyer. Give them a call, I'm sure they will be happy to answer all your questions.

sure, they have one month to unload the cars, then the 650i is out, then the price will really have to drop to sell them...

Just curious, how much did you buy your 645 for? And, what options did you get for it?

I'm curious, cause I think I might have paid too much for mine, but don't know. It looks like
from consumer reports I got fair market value, but I still don't know.

Here's what I got: Convertible, with all the options minus cold package and parking assist.
Paid: $78,000 for it, back in February. (All options include like minor things like blue tooth, and clear bra.)

You raise an interesting point.

I've got a 650 convertable on order (due to arrive around mid October). But if the price of the 645s drops low enough...

Mein Auto: A car
645Ci Cabrio, smg, hud, active cruise, Logic7, sport, cold weather, chrome ellipticals @ MSRP less $3400.

Before you say wow, here's the catch. The dealer charged .00285 money factor for the lease. I expected to see .0024-.0026. My calcs figure if I had got the lower m\f then I would probably have paid MSRP less $500 - $1,000.

The dealers explanation on the m\f was that BMW did not reduce the rates on the 645 cabrio like they do on other models. Sounds like a big story to me. But, I couldn't be happier. The car is fantastic.
