Reduced power and steptronic worries...

well, just a problem that I have came across the last 2 days...

My car is not performing as before... It seems lethargic and not eager to pull the revs so easily...No light on the dash whatsoever.

I have been filling up gas at mainly one gas station for the last year, which is an AGIP brand new station with stainless steel pipes.

I am at 118.000km now, and I wonder if it has something to do with the transmition fluid.
The transmition is not slipping however by any means.

any help is appreciated.

No one?
Well, could be my imagination anyways....but I will check the car anyways. A diagnosis and some gearbox change is a good start.

Yeap, I did them on 110.000km. (8.000km ago) along with the inspectionII. the old ones still had life on them, so that explains the 160.000km reccomended change.

B&^%&%$s gas stations!! There is nothing wrong with my steptronic!! Its the gas that is of lower quality.

We have 3 days holidays here :Saturday, Sunday and Monday, so the gas station owners probably decided (as usual) since there will be no inspection to mix their 98RON gas with some diesel or 95RON. So I paid for 98 and i am actually putting 92-93 or something.
