Hello, this looks like a very informative site! I recently bought an older 325i, 1994 & although I have lots of questions that I am sure I will learn the answers to on this site, I couldn't find anything regarding this question.
When I was detailing the car the other day, I noticed a bolt under the gas pedel, it was adjustible, and it is currently snug. It appears to be some kind of "governor"? If this is indeed a governor, is it adjustible, is it something that I should even consider "playing" with? If not any ideas as to what it is and what purpose it serves? Any help would be appreciated! thanks!
