lol If everybody starts to bringing him a bottle of wine when he picks them up he should be able to open his own wine shop pretty soon!!!

How much does it cost? And are we suppose to tip him?

If you read the first page of posts it says 35 euro and no tip.

Anyway the first poster "glenmal" could put fee, contact, tipping info etc... This gets a little unwieldy.

I am confirmed for an aiport pick up with him on May 9th, and he is charging me 45 euro no tip.

Why won't he answer my email? :-(

Rolf just dropped me off at the Welt not too long ago, and I whole-heartedly agree with all the other positive things already written about him: great guy, very personable and helpful! I highly recommend his services!

I just recieved my ED informational package from BMWNA. In it is a letter describing the special rates arranged by BMW at the King's Hotel in Munich. It says that the hotel can make arrangement for ED guests to be picked up and/or dropped off at the Munich airport for 85 euros - one way.

Rolph sure seems like a great value at 45 euros. I'm in!

Rolf picked me up for my ED last week, great guy! Highly recommended!

How long does it normally take Rolf to respond? I dropped him a line yesterday morning just wondering when I might here back from him.

Yep - I sent him a note as well but have not heard back yet. Not too worried - it sounds like it sometimes takes him a few days to respond to e-mail

I hate waiting for responses... it makes everything seem so far away.. but I'm sub 40 days now.

Just back yesterday -- We used Rolf and Peter quite liberally -- and they are both great.

Rolf picked us up at MUC and was most helpful with planning the rest of our trip, including bringing Peter to our hotel at 21:45 so that we could plan all the pick-ups! This was above and beyond!

They both had diesel wagons which automatically shut off the engines at stoplights, and then turned them back on in the blink of an eye when the clutch was re-engaged -- awesome.

Rolf: MUC > Hotel
Peter: Hotel > Welt (2 trips, one for the 3 of us and one for our 2 travel companions!)
Peter: HARMS > Hotel
Peter: Hotel > MUC (at 220 kph!)

Both Rolf and Peter are highly recommended, never late, and very humorous -- we felt like we were with friends!

Confirmed with Rolf for pickup on May 14th! The fare is 50 Euro now.

yeah-he quoted me 50 also for June pick-up

Just was picked up by Rolf yesterday - worth every Euro. Quite the gentleman and exceedingly helpful. We brough him a gift of smoked salmon from Seattle.

just got a recent price quote from rolf:

45 euros from airport to welt
50 euros from airport to city (10km. further)

he is very responsive with email.

Hi - new here and planning European delivery in late June. Saw this thread and thought I would use Rolf for transportation after all the great reviews here. Unfortunately I have e-mailed him several times and gotten this message each time:

I got the same error message too but Rolf did respond to my email so I think he's coming around to it. Keep trying!

My pickup is May 23rd. Rolf can't make it but his friend Mike is willing: 50E.

Just sent Rolf an email requesting airport pickup to hotel on July 4th and hotel pickup and transport to Welt on July 5th. Keeping fingers crossed.

I have e-mailed him a couple of times with no response. Do you just keep sending them, or wait? How long do most of you wait to hear back from him?

Rolf answered me next day (5/11) to confirm availability for my pickup date of 7/4. Also included alot of helpful info in his email. Just give him some time.
