That certainly wasn't the case for me. Below I have copied and pasted my experience when they called for a cab at Harms. Wow is right!

One thing to keep in mind, was that I told the guy we needed a taxi and
he called for one. We were greeted with a S class mercedes and we both
were like wow, what a taxi. Well after halfway to the Munich airport
Marriott he told us that it was a Limosine, not a taxi. 42 euros to get
about 12 miles I think! Wow is right Make sure you mention to
get a cheap taxi!

Would Rolf provide transportation from the Airport to a hotel in Munich? Or does he mainly provide transport from the Airport to the delivery center? I can imagine myself using Rolf's services several times during my stay in Munich if other pick up/drop off points are available. It seems like from most people's experience, Rolf has transported them from the airport to the delivery center. Thanks in advance!

Since you are paying for his service, I don't think he cares where you want to be dropped off

That's exactly what we did. He picked us up at the airport, and delivered us to the Kings Center First Class in town. Since we didn't need him to take us to the delivery center the next day (we used the u-bahn, just for fun), he gave us his card in case we needed him for anything else. Was really a nice way to get to the hotel after our long flight.

I just e-mailed Rolf for a pick-up request. With the All Saints holiday on Tuesday, I wonder when he might respond.

I just spoke with him. He's working by special request on Tuesday as he will be picking me up at HARMS in the afternoon to take me to the airport.

Well it appears that Rolf is now checking his e-mail routinely as he responded to me very quickly.

He's not available on my arrival date, but at least he got back to me quickly.

Rolf drove me to the airport yesterday and requested that I "make his thread appear again on bimmerfest." So Rolf, for your great services, here is a courtesy bump.

Probably should...maybe some of the other ones are outdated or expendable by now

Oh Rolf is a great guy.. He is busy so cannot always commit to your plans, but he really makes every effort to pick you up.. In my case he picked us in 7 series (that topped 150m/hr). But 7 series or not, his help is highly recommended at least for anyone unfamiliar with Europe/Germany. Peace of mind.

Rolf picked me up on Sunday Nov.14th at the airport for the ride to the Renaissance hotel. His fee...35 Euro. I gave Rolf 40 Euro and he refused the extra 5 Euro. The man is a true gentleman and I would highly recommend exploiting his services.

Since I was determined to be first at the delivery center on Monday, I anticipated leaving the hotel at 7:15 am (DC opens at 7:30 am). Rolf, after reviewing his schedule, picked me up at the hotel on Monday am and refused any Euros.

It appears everyone "wants to be first" as there were already 6 individuals ahead of me AND I WAS THERE AT 7:25 am. But the wait was not long and I was on the road at 9:30 am.

Finally, Rolf picked me up in a new European 745D. Nice touch

Just a note of caution; Rolf's email to me indicated that he could possibly show up in a MINI. We would be 2 of us; with bags for our 12 day trip. A mini would just not be able to hold the bags as he indicated.

I was picked up in an X5 diesel last March. I guess it can vary. If he can't guarantee you a certain vehicle, at least he tells you for sure!

Rolf is a really nice guy. I told him I was coming on Jan 13 and was bring my snowboard equipment. He said no problem and picked me and my bro up in a 750.

Another couple doing ED happen to be on our plane and they hitch a ride with us. We wind up splitting the fare.
