Rolf Contact Information

I emailed Rolf about a possible pick up at Munich's RR station about noon on 23 June. He responded to me very quickly and unfortunately for me, he will be on vacation at that time. He was very cordial and wished me a wonderful vacation in Europe. I am very sorry that I won't be able to meet him as he seems to be a real gentleman.

Rolf really is a great guy. He was very helpful during my recent ED. He was always on time, provided good local information and made my ED experience run very smoothly. I highly recomend you consider having Rolf help you with your ED.

Doh! Rolf is still new at this email stuff. He probably never deleted anything or did but it is just sitting in his trash can. Someone may need to call Rolf!

Over the past 3 days I've had a successful email exchange and coordination with Rolf. No bounced emails at all. I can't wait to meet him, he seems like such a nice fella.

Just got confirmation from Rolf that he will be picking us up at the airport on the 17th. He is unable to take us to the delivery center on the 18th as he will be in Italy. He responded to email very quickly.

Rolf was unavailable for my ED date and made a suggestion for another service (Sigrid). Rolf's suggestions are very reliable also. Here is a link to comments about that service, read post #22 of this thread

In short, if Rolf is unavailable, his suggestions are worth taking and are trustworthy

I emailed him Monday and heard back from him on Wednesday. He's going to pick us up from the airport then ride to the ED Center directly. It's going to be 25 miles and he charges 40 Euro (though I heard it was 35 euro before).

Rising gas caused the bump for Rolf's services.

Sigrid was awesome. I missed a connection in Chicago and was 28 hours late - and she was still there!! (Well, I did call her from Chicago, but still )
Due to the missed connection, I arrived without my luggage. It takes a while before you realise that you, and the other 25 people still waiting at the luggage carousel are SOL, so I was well over an hour late before I met her outside. Meantime, she had called my US cell phone (which does not work in EUR) AND the ED center to let them know I was running late.

When I later entered the ED center with Sigrid, I was greeted by a "Oh, Mr. Petersen - we have been expecting you."

When I told Sigrid about my luggage voes, she gave me a big hug. This was Friday afternoon, and I was about to miss the delivery before the ED center closed for the weekend. Man - that 7-series diesel can move. I think we hit 250 km/hr with Sigrid gesturing and demonstrating real time traffic info on her NAV and only keeping one hand on the steering wheel. Frankly, I didn't mind - felt completely safe and comfortable.
And, no she refused my tip for the extra trouble.
We love you, Sigrid!

Just got back from Germany, had a great trip, utilizing the European Delivery program. Just a few words on Rolf: We used Rolf to take us to the airport, to the kings hotel, to the delivery center and back to the kings hotel. Rolf is very courteous, professional and offers great advice. I would recommend to use him anytime!

Has anyone used Rolf or Sigrid from the train station to the ED Center? If so, how much did that cost?

Which train station?

Keep in mind, if you are at the Hauptbahnhof, you can easily get to Freimann with the U-Bahn.

Hauptbahnhof, yes. I was just wondering the price of the ride from there. I know you can get there easily on the U-bahn...

We are pickingup our e90 335i on Tuesday, October 10th. We'll be in Munich starting Saturday afternoon and as soon as we pick up, we'll head for the Alps and then Italy.

A real must for my son is the BMW plant tour. We can't stick around for the Tuesday tour and there is no English language Monday tour. I asked Rolf if he could give us a private tour since there seems to be references to him doing that in some of the posts. He misunderstood what I was asking. Anybody has any first hand knowledge if he has ever been able to do that?
