LOWEST possible price for 550i Euro Delivery

Hello Everyone,

Planning on doing ED on 550i by end of the year and wanted to know if anyone has gotten a good deal on 550i ED (though unlikely since just begining production)...

Also, in the 2006 "5SeriesPricing.pdf" under the "Confidential Wholesale Price section"

Wholesale Base Price Euro Delivery Munich Pick Up = Dealer's actual price for ordering one 550i from the factory for me. And is the difference between this price ($48,575) and the "Suggested Base Price Euro Delivery Munich Pick Up" ($53,380) is what the dealer profit ($4,805) is for taking this ED order for me? And that I should begin negotiating my ED price based on $48,575 up? Maybe $48,575 + 1000 (dealer commission)?

Thanks in advance everyone!

You are correct as I answered in your other post regarding this.

Just to give you an indicator, I have negotiated a deal for $1500 above European Wholesale price for the 2006 550i. It all depends on the car and its price. You can definitiely start at $1000 but it might be optimistic.

Well, theoretically, it shouldn't matter since the car doesn't come out of the dealer's normal allocation for the year. ED cars are "freebies" to dealers and icing on the cake if they don't get too greedy about them.

However, the dealer will use market conditions to get the most profit he can: i.e. charge more for the "hot" 550i and take less for the "not as hot" 530i or 525i.

Edit: Doh! Didn't notice the date on this as I replied!!

I do question whether the dealer loses his holdback on ED vehicles, and is thus working from a narrower profit margin.

Sounds like a prefect question for the Ask a Dealer forum!

Is this also a question for the Ask a Dealer forum?

On MY07 Price list, ED WS Pricing:
Multi Contour Seats 1,090/ZSP is this amound added to the ZSP Sports Package amount of 2,550 therefore total: 3,640?

Or is the ZSP Sports Package 2,550 already include the 1,090 therefore adding only the 2,550 to my price total?

The sports pkg includes the multi contour seats. I ordered that and its priced out in my deal. The multi contour seats are also offered separately at the individual price you showed without the other sports pkg options.

So by adding 2,550 (Sports Package) to the car's invoice price, the Multi Contour seats will be included right?

I'm looking a doing a ED for a 550i. My dealer states that there is no way any dealer will give it to me for $1,000 over ED invoice. Am I setting my expectations too high? He states that he will only make $100 on the deal. I'm working with Neillo in Sacramento. Does anyone know a dealer that is at least willing to begin negotiations at $1,000 over ED invoice? Thanks for your help.

Just start cold-emailing dealers and see what they offer you. $100 sounds quite low. I know folks getting 500-1000 over EI and I can assure you the dealer is making more than a c-note in the process or they wouldn't be doing the deals.

PM me if you are interested in a great dealer out of state (Oregon) that I use all the time. I can guarantee he will begin at 1k over EI...and may just stop there!

Making $100 on the deal?

I'd offer $950 over invoice - $50 sounds like a reasonable commission .

Just kidding - commission structures differ dealer to dealer. Shop around.
