ED questions

I have checked the ED and wholesale price lists for a 330xi. Am I correct in my assumption that I should aim for an ED price of 1000-2000 over wholesale price? Is this possible?

Is there a deal with buy one airline ticket get the second free?

Thanks in advance.

Matt

You should be ok in this range.

Yes, Lufthansa has 2 for 1. You may do better without it, but during peak travel periods, this is the best option.

Holy cow you guys are FAST! I just posted this! Beewang that is hilarious.

I hail from Dublin, Ohio in Franklin County (just outside of Columbus, OH).

That is great news on the price- definitely saves some $$. I noticed one of the recommended dealers in in Circleville OH just north of here and a second is in Erie, PA, my original hometown.

The 2 for one tickets also helps out.

I thought I did well on my original 330 at 1k over invoice, but ED is much better.

Cheers

Now that they are making 330 xi's, how long much of lag can I expect from order date to pick up in Germany?

After drop off, I should expect a 6-8 week turn around?

Cheers

Well, you are a bit inland but my last E.D. was 4 weeks exactly.

How much time from ordering to availability in Germany? Do you have a window of a week or two to pick up when done?

When you order, you request a day. It´s recommended you order 60 or so days in advance, if not more.

For very short term needs, BMW maintains a pool of cars which can be delivered. But choices are limited. My first E.D. was out of the pool - and both of my choices for a 3er were available so I got exactly what I wanted but your mileage may vary.
