2005 545i Navigation Won't Turn Off !!! Help !!
My 2005 545i navigation system has a problem.. When I turn off the engine and pull the key out of the ignition the navigation system stays on. If the stereo is on the music continues playing and will not turn off even after 1 hour.. What can I do ?? Any ideas ?? maybe disconect the battery to reset the computer??

I get cd eject and navigation disc eject but how do you turn off (power radio) radio..So are you saying turn the radio of by using the volumn knob on the dash, steering wheel or are you turning off the radio through idrive?

Are you using Bluetooth paired to a cell phone? This happened to me once. Even though I didn't have a call in progress, when I turned off my phone, the car went to sleep.

Yes .. Your suggestion of resetting the navigation center by turning off the stereo and cd/dvd eject seemed to work..Since then I have not had the problem again. I am also using a paired bluetooth cell phone..
