1996 328i radio display weak/out
The lcd display on my radio is not working. The lights on the other lcd display (temp, time, date,etc.) is working. What is the correct name for this part of the dash? Could it just need a bulb? Thanks.

I don't think you can change the bulbs in the radio, I know that you can change them on the on board computer, but if they go out your climate control, you have to send it in to get it fixed, or get a new one, and I think it may be the same way with the radio.

Radio
The LCD dispaly on these radios is a known defect. It cant be easily fixed. I have a spare radio here with nice, bright numbers if you are interested for not too much $$$. Just send me a PM....
