Racing / Autocross Aligment. Camber?
How much is "Right"? Can this be achieved without camber plates?
I've barely been able to get 1.0/0.8 negative. Would of liked 1.5 for autocross. |

Only way to really tell is to test or to take tire temps. But AutoX tends to be too short for good temps.
Many people are running as much as 3 degrees negative, if then can get it. With a stock suspensionn, dial in as much as you can and be happy. 1.5 is a good comprimise street/autox setting. More will adversely effect tire wear while street driving.

For the track, I'll be running -3.0 to -3.5 up front (with adjustable plates) and -2.0 degrees in the rear which I'm already running and can be accomplished with stock components.
I believe we e46s can take the guide support from the 96+ e36 M3s and swap them (left on our right and vice versa) which will allow some more camber adjustment up front.
