Will e46 sedan wheels fit onto an E34?
After recently changing wheels on my 03 325i, I decided to sell my old wheels which are the #45 7 spoke. I found a buyer who has a 93 525i, but I don't know if they will fit on his car. Does anyone else know? Thanks

The offset is different, they really shouldn't fit. The typical offset of an E34 wheel is 20mm, and I believe the Style 45 has a 47mm offset. 27mm is a pretty big difference, and although an E46 wheel may "fit" without rubbing anything, it won't be the proper fit and may cause handling problems.
Either that, or he'll wind up with his car looking something like this guy who has Style 45 wheels on the back of his M Roadster... ![]() http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1998-...QQcmdZViewItem |

No they won't fit and spacers large enought to make them fit are illegal in some states. Look for Q on the roadfly board for more info. He is the expert on rims/tire fitting.
