Question Need Help E46 330xi Seat Wiring Diagram

Gentlemen, I like my Bimmer seats so much I bought a pair to put in a very special older Jeep that I've restored. I found some of the Red Leather ones with Heat and Memory. I'm looking for some help with a wiring diagram for these seats. I assume there will be no way to make the memory work, that's probably part of the cars computer along with the mirror settings but the power adjust and heaters would be nice. As a matter of fact the power adjust is a necessity, there's no other way to adjust them. Thanks Chris

Have you checked the Bentley manual? I don't have mine handy right now but I'm fairly sure the wiring diagrams for the seats are in there.

Totally Helpless

Sir, to this point all I've done is driven them, I'm not even sure what the Bentley Manual is. It just seems that there are an awful lot of wires coming off these seats to control a few things. Also, the one seat has quite a few more than the other.

Have a look at Amazon.com for the E46 BMW Bentley Manual. About $85 for more info than you ever wanted.

Failing that, I'm in Macungie, PA (Rt 100) stop by to have a look at mine and we'll figure it out.

Thumbs up

Thanks Scott, Don't mind investing the $100 if it'll have the info in that I need. I'm sure it will come in handy later with something else. If you do locate this manual and you find it doesn't have the wiring in for the seats, please let me know. I'm traveling on business and it'll be a couple of days before I get to order one. I do remember that there are 2 large wires to each seat and 5 small ones to one seat and 7 small ones to the other. 1 pair of the small ones are twisted together on each side and I'm assuming that will be the data wiring to the BMW computer. I fix hardware and software for a living and it looks like the kind of thing I would see on a data connection. Just not sure what the rest of the small ones would be. Thanks Again. Chris
