My new 2018 328D and new accessories for it

For over the last year I have been driving a Porsche Macan GTS and decided to trade it in for a new 328D. This new Bimmer drives very very nice. Seems like they have ironed out all the little bugs on this 2018 model year.

I have about 280 miles on the clock so far and the fuel economy is very very good on this car. If you cruise at 65-70 MPH on the freeway you can see 50 MPG and at around 80 MPH you can see around 47-48 MPG. In the city you are still over 30 MPG and if you are easy on it in the city you can see 34 MPG.

I tested my new tablet holder in it of which I have designed and plan on launching soon. Fits and works perfectly in this car. Also tested in the Porsche Macan and it also fits and works perfectly. You can set it in the most optimal position so that your hand has easy access.

At 80 Mph on the highway with a steady foot I can get 49 MPG which is great. Have about 1/4 tank of fuel left and I am closing in on my first 500 miles on odometer. This is the first tank with no fill ups yet.

Care to give a ballpark estimate on the price for the tablet holder? Or feel free to PM me if mod's don't like threads looking too commercial in nature.

I could be wrong, but it looks like "Headrest Mount for GoPro, Tackform DrivePro Best Car Mount for GoPro for Recording Racing Video" from Amazon.

edit: Oops, looks like I just unintentionally hijacked OPs thread ))))
Totally missed that last sentence about you designing your own product .... Congrats man, looks sharp !! @stylinexpat

I feel bad only getting nearly 40 mpg in my older E90 335d yesterday coming back from Pullman WA to Seattle! I think that the last time I drove my wife's 328xd over there and back we got 47 or so... Hills and wind kill mileage sometimes on that trip.

Yesterday I drove from Culver City down to Dana Point and when I arrived I still had a full tank. I probably averaged 80 MPH on the freeway and look at my MPG!!
Hard to beat these numbers. Anyone thinking about one of these cars. I can tell you that it is very highly recommended.

Probably around $80-85 and then around $100-110 for carbon fiber version. The carbon fiber part would just be the arm.
