Mein Auto: E30 M3, 435ix convrt,
F33 435ix conv. Exhaust "fixing bow" instalation

The "fixing bow" (pin that connects the exhaust pipe "flapper" to the servo that turns it) broke.

I bought a new "fixing bow".

Lift the car... But... The arms on the fixing bow are parallel... but the slot on the flapper connector and the slot on the servo, are closer to perpendicular.

WTH? This cant be this hard.

The flapper has what feels like 90 degrees of motion in it... But no matter how far you turn it it wont line up with the servo. I unscrewed the servo to try to turn it manually but it doesnt budge . Even turned the car on, put it in sports mode, didnt seem to make a difference?

There has to be a trick to this?
