rough idle in the winter - Bimmerfest

My 1995 540i idles rough when the temperature dips below 60 degrees and the check engine lights comes on. If the temperature during the day rises above 70 degrees the check engine light goes out and the car idles fine. What is this problem and how do I fix it?

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Do a search here and post if you have any questions. Several people there have just fixed the exast same problem.
