My Ship has come in

Good news, the ship carrying my 2018 F31 has arrived in Port Elizabeth this morning. Should be at my dealer in northern NJ sometime next week.

And more good news. The car was ordered in October with October promotions. Since it is arriving in December, I am getting December promotions which are $1500 more.
Whoopee!

How do you track at sea? I have a ship name and a voyage code. How long is the voyage then how long till it moves from port to dealer? Im told my boat arrives 12/19 in Galveston headed to Baton Rouge from there.

That is interesting.

My 2018 F30 arrived at the same time in Baltimore on the same Norwegian carrier, but my ship name was the "Tijuca" and yours was the "Tirranna". Cool.

The best I could figure out, not only was my ship, the Tijuca, carrying a load of BMW's, I think it had a load of Mercedes Benz too.

I was also an October order, and since it is arriving before 12-31-2017, I should get all my federal tax incentives !!

Merry Christmas !!!!

Go to marinetraffic.com, enter your ship name and track it from there. No need to register or pay.

Here's my ship:

And here's njbimmerman ship:

Yeah mine got unloaded sometime on 12/07 ... Yours ?
Wanted to spy on it with my camera, but I had missed it, as it entered the port [through Verrazano-Narrows Bridge] later at night and I had to be up early for work; besides I am a "foot-walking-grunt" these days )) ... would had been tough to pull that one ))) lol

I called my dealer today and was told that they have ETA of 12/13-14 ... Soooo I should be able to pick it up around Friday the 15th or so .... I guess
Although they said it is very much possible that it arrives to their shop before the ETA [fngs crossed]
Oh well, will use this time to iron-out a couple of things with M-Performance trim I want to put in ... gotta work things out with my local dealer [greedy bastards]

You can definitely use those links provided by the members below, but one other thing to consider - most of the time you don't get the real-time traffic information while a vessel is crossing the Atlantic Ocean [about 4-5 days], as most of its voyage it remains in "off-radar" coverage where a ship's transponder does not ping its position [typically between the Scottish shores and all the way up until it reaches the area of Nova Scotia]. I could be wrong though, but this has been my observation. Besides, the same happens in aviation in transatlantic/pacific flights ...

takes about 10-12 days from Bimmerhaven to USA east coast. You can track it here.

be sure you get the December promotions - if they are better than what you got when you ordered.

Now, you get $3000 plus $1500 if you already own a BMW.

my ship arrived in Port ELizabeth on Thursday morning about 4:00am or something.
It was gone the next day so if I figure about 3 days in the VDC, starting Friday 12/8 or Monday at the lastest 12/11, I should have it in north jersey dealer (Roxbury) by end of this week.

you are correct.
but what's cool is noting the next port destination.

no news. When I spoke to the BMW sales guy last Friday, he said the car should arrive at the dealership sometime this week.

Had one bite on the '06 e91 on Sunday. Yesterday, I advertised on the national BMWCCA web site. I would think it would sell since it is in excellent condition, low mileage and a stick shift. Also maintained Mike Miller old school way.
