Business Radio Fault

I have a new '05 (Sept) 530i Touring UK spec with a standard fit Business Radio. I have a really annoying fault which the dealer is telling me is a "feature". Has anyone come across this fault on their car - and has anyone got it fixed and if so how? The fault is as follows - With the Traffic Programme active, the i-Drive display shows the radio flipping between the RDS information and the associated frequency e.g. BBC R4 and 93.5 FM or between radio stations e.g. BBC R4 and BBC Kent etc. It will flip several times per second for a period of about 5-10 seconds at regular but infrequent intervals which can be a few minutes or tens of minutes apart. Each time the display shows it flipping to either the frequency or an alternative radio station it loses audio such that in speech, for example, you will hear the opening syllable of a word and then the last one or a similar sort of pattern. This happens irrespective of whether the car is stationary or moving. The only way to stop this is to turn off the traffic programme in which event the radio is fine.
