Replacement Key

Greetings,

I just purchased my dream 1999 528I. I like to make sure I'm not being ripped off so I will run things by this boards before making any decision. It seems everyone is well informed. My first issue is the key that came with the car is broken. The keyless entry is all messed up, i cant do anything remotely does anyone know what i have to do. The key itself to start the car is working fine.

Thanks,
BIG TOU

Do you only have 1 key? You should've gotten at least 2 main keys, 1 plastic key, and 1 key that is kind of between the 2 main keys and plastic/wallet key.

Try programming your key. Do a search in this forum and you should find directions.
