The ABS & ASC lights have turned on and will not shut off. the control button for the ASC does not respond. i dont know what happened. what could it be?

when that happened to me - it was first intermittant, then later became permanent. It was a faulty wheel sensor.
It could also be a relay - you should be so lucky.

I just changed the same part that you will need it goes on the brake master cylinder the part # is 34333 1 182 594 that will be the part you need to order from the dealer , the c clip is a pain to get out it holds the sensor you will need some long plyers to acces the c clip. good luck, let me know how it goes.

abs controller
it is most likely the abs controller. alot of them will through a right rear speed sensor code and it is a short in the controller it self i've replaced 6 that I know of
