Is it possible to get the 3-series (e90) styel 162 18" rims on the e60 525xi?

Hate to bring back an old topic. But was wondering the same thing. I got the same car. I just found a set of powdercoated ones and i need a summer set of wheels.

Should work, I'd say. Stock offset is 43 for 18x8 rims on the xi. I run 17x8 with offset 30 no problem. The 162s come in offset 34 and 37: http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/162.

This vehicle runs OEM pads on one axle and Akebono Euro on the other. Guess which ones are where!
