i like the black leater hosen
the black leather is in each one of my five vehicles, i think i like it
i keep ordering BLACK LEATHER
i have black interior in all of my vehicles
black is good
paint it black
i do have the grey exterior on the wifes 645 and seal grey on my 911 turbo and it looks great

I did black on black on my 911 carrera s and on my 760i awesome cars
the truck is white with black interior
the 645 cic is grey with black interior
the 911 turbo is grey with black interior
i would have everyting black/black but i dont have enough time for the extra detail time the black exterior requires

I don't know whay I'm going to do when I have to take my yellow lab to the vet. It will be a hairfest.

Phunkfarm, You are going to love driving that car. I have the cream interior with the same trim. I have read about it being easy to scratch, but mine is the same year and looks awesome! No marks, and if I can keep the kids out, it might stay that way. Best of Luck to You.

Aren't you worried about buying things on eBay? I just don't trust that the product I'll get their is new, or in worse condition than promised, if not immediately apparent.

Beautiful car. Good luck when it arrives. I think that blue color is much nicer than the darker Monaco blue that I got.

It will be interesting to see how you customize it.

I live in northern california and this is the worst place to buy a car. The dealers and even privates are so damn high here.

An example....I was in the market for a topaz blue X5. Weatherford BMW had one with 38K mi for $43 K without the sports package.

I found a SP one with 27K mi for $37800 in Texas at "the Autohaus" a high end sports car dealership in Ft Worth. It cost me a $200 plane ticket and a 9 hour drive back home.

They met me at the airport, the car didnt have a scratch on it and was under full factory warranty which is the key to buying off site. If you can get them to "guarantee physical condition" I E refund your plane tix if not as described or what ever theres really not much of a risk.

I'm not overly anal about previous owners, the radio station settings and all that although I do want a non smokers car.

I also bought one of the nicest M3's Ive ever seen from a dealer in Pensyvania as shown here from CERTIFIED MOTORS, a fine dealership. Saved another $5k and found the very desirable white/red 6 sp combo I was after.

Oh yea thats another thing...Im very particular about color and options. Its very hard for me to find local cars becasue theres never the "perfect" car for me around here. I needed a Mystic/manual or a Mystic/SMG in a coupe and you can search the entire country and not find ONE right now. Ironically the only other Mystiic car I even see for sale is a convertible at Weatherford BMW. Its and auto though. That was the car I saw in person and said "oh yeah, thats the color I need" Very rare unfortunately.

I do no t like silver/black, black/black cars because of the sheer volume of them around here. If I see another silver BMW I think im going to shoot myself. At Weatherford, you look at the new car inventory and you see sea after sea of silver Bimmers looking like a fleet of military vehicles parked side by side and every fifth car a speckle of color.

When I get it, the only mods Ill do are...

silver carbon fiber interior (inquire if you want one as I found a source)
wheels
springs
exhaust
chip
stereo (non logic 7)
tint
SSK
CAI if theres one avail

and call it the day. Any more and I might as well get the M6 @ $100k if i can find a pre owned non silver one one day. Then again @ $100K, I may lean toward the Aston Martin AM V8 or the new 997 turbo.

Thanks to 'sicks' for dropping by to show me the interior color combo of his new 650i. Gave me a good idea of what dark wood looks like with Black leather. Really liked the way his 6 speed manual drives!
