E 36 Fatigued

The engine in my E 36 - 1993 sounds fatigued after a 50 mile trip, engine vibrates when in idle , the gear stick shakes ,(not alarming ) i have done a tune up . spark plugs, oil filter , air filter . it didn't make a difference , any ideas what can it be , perhaps engine mounts ?

I'm thinking a short video that exacerbates your chief complaint may be needed to form a proper prognosis here.

A rough running engine could be anything, including a vacuum leak, electrical problem, or fuel delivery problem, and so on.

ICV? When was it last cleaned? How about the air filter? How about the fuel filter? When was that replaced last? Do you hear any whistling sounds from the engine bay? Any check engine light?

I would check to see if your fan is damaged. A slight imbalance on the unit will create vibrations and if not caught sooner, could possibly leave you with significant damage to your cooling system.

My old E36 runs semi ok ,it has engine fatigued issues ,the new old thing is that after changing the fan belt and the tension wheel because of annoying noise the problem was solved , now after 8 moths the same noise has returned any thoughts on the matter
