what do you guys think of this PS'ed 645 facelift?

I think it fixes the only aesthetical flaw in the 645 IMHO.

The blacked out headlights? Honestly I'm not feeling it. It's a different look, but I actually prefer them as they come.

Different strokes I suppose..

no not blacked out headlights

just darkened the white groucho marx turn signals to colormatch the car and highlight the Xenons instead of the brows.

I like how the car looks just as it is. Just my opinion.

I actually got the idea from the Bentley GT

I think its awesome how the headlights are a form/function integral part of the body without clutter.

Its hard to think of a car other than say the Astin Martin DB9 and the such that has such neat form.

What if your car wasn't black? Do they darken the lights to match any body color?

well, i was thinking

on a black car one can tint the turn sigs with dark window tint to help blend it. Perhaps even if you painted the lens black, the light would illiminate through. The lens glass certainly doesnt need to be white, it needs to be smoked somehow without a doubt.

Anyone want to try to develop a mod with me for this?

Pioneers get shot I'll let you be the first to make that mod.

Actually, AeroTect (the guys that did my "clear" bra) offer the film in a couple tints. You could have them use a tinted film on your headlights. It's 100% transparent when the lights are on, but it will black them out a bit during the day.

Don't like it at all. It's just like you shaving off your eyebrows and looking in the mirror. You would look pretty "incomplete".

What about the rear quarter side view and bloated trunk. I don't know how anyone talented in design could sign off on that!

you know...

I was thinking of a trunk that didnt have the swoosh on it...

one tht curved down to grace the rear fender...like the bentley gt coupe rear....that would be hot

I agree completely. If you look closely you can see how all the lines tie in, and how clever it all is. But, in the end it's still ungainly, no matter how well it comes together.

If you take out the trunk lid, there is a basic resemblence to the shape of the back 1/4 of a porsche. Interesting, though the porsche is stretched a little in comparison.

I also thought there was a resemblance in the entire shape to the CLS without the trunk lid.

is the phoenix yellow on that M6?

yukko....

I like the porsche rear when you have a car with hips. The 6 does have hips.

You know how in the M3 world theres a zillion companies making carbon fiber aftermarket trunk lids. How cool would it be to find a company that can clone a rounded carbon trunklid!

Could be cool but pricey. All the antenna equipment in the trunk would have to be rerouted and the sat radio antenna may not be as efficient on a sloped lid.

Now that picture does justice for the 6. So many people I've talked to won't buy the 6 because it is literally butt-ugly and the rear lines suck! Would'nt it be great if when it's time for a facelift, 1.5 years from now, this is what it looks like!

Thats giving me Infiniti J30 rear-end nightmares. I really like the car overall, brows included. The rear could use a little something...
