E63 / E64 6 Series (2003 - 2013)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

Turbo kit for the 6er... SmoothCruise you'll like this one

After much searching around i finally found a tuner that does this.

http://www.da-motorsport.com/

They are based in Turkey and did many cars. Their most succesfull project is the E36 M3 Turbo with 1100hp (check out the vids to see how bad it smokes the E60 M5). They don't have a kit developed and ready to ship for the 4.4 engine because no 6er, 5er, 7er arrived at their facility to do this.

I've emailed them and they told me that the only way to get this done is to drive the car over there so they can develop the kit for it (6-12 weeks time). They offer kit's with 500hp (9000$), 1000hp and 1200hp. For the 1000hp and 1200hp ones they will rebuild the engine with custom internals so nothing breaks over there. I'm sure you can lower the boost for day to day driving so it isn't this extreme... Problem is they are fully booked untill september 2006 so there is no way for them to do it even if you send/bring them your car...

I didn't ask about prices for the 1000/1200hp conversions but since the E36 M3 conv. is around 22000$ i'm guessing something around 20-25k. Email them for more info...

Why restrain yourself with only 1200HP? Why not try to get something like 2000HP? Of course, your tires will be toast in about 3 seconds, but you can show off that big dick, I mean engine, and feel like a big Too bad I can't drive it to turkey.

I guess it's just a matter of time, really. So I'd probably wait til it happens. You don't want to be the first.

1000+hp, wow, that's cool. I don't think I can handle that much. I figure about 650-680hp would be sweet. That's why I might just go the Racing Dynaimcs route and see if I can put a SC on top of it.

You gonna do it, or no? I'm not in a rush to do anything right now. My new car is fine the way it is, but I'll wait til my car gets sufficiently beaten up, e.g., the warranty expires. My dealership is a mile away from me, which is really convenient considering all the minor glitches and flats I've had It also made me appreciate my warranty.

But don't worry, soon we'll both have our 6ers blasting down the countryside looking for those money digging hot chicks from your country. And if we are careful enough, we won't end up like the crash pictures you posted up here a month or so ago!

Anyways, great find. It's always good to know all your options.

Well. Personally i'd try to get them to do a 600hp kit max if i ever do this. Anything more then that and i think the chassis would take quite a beating and it will turn the car into a drag/dyno queen and would ruin it IMO. September 2006 is too much time to wait for me and i'll probably sell the car by then. The M's still appeal more to me then a tuned one since the balance of power and handling is almost perfect on them.

I'm looking to upgrade my '05 645 with a turbo charger kit; any recommendations? Should I have the dealership do it? I think I know a place that can do it, they do major custom work on rides, all kinds. thoughts?
