6 Series
The BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations. |

Where is the ECU located?
Does anyone know, or have a schematic of, where the ECU is located?
Someone said that it's under the hood, just below the left windshield (steering wheel side in a US car). If so, it must be under the pollen filter compartment. But I'd like to get further confirmation before I start taking everything apart in order to pull the ECU to send it off for re-programming. |

It is under the right microfilter (polen filter). Or left if you look from in front of the car... not the steering wheel side.
