Where to store the owners manual?

Just got my new 2006 750Li. After looking through the owner's manual and all the other documents that come in the standard black leather case, I realize that this thing will not fit in my glove box! Where do most of you store the leather case with all the owner's manuals and pamphlets?

How about a) in the trunk, or b) in the storage compartment underneath the front seat center armrests?

I keep mine in the house, in a fire safe.

Actually, I don't know where mine is. I should probably find it.

It does fit in the glove compartment, just turn it 90%, the leather case the dealer gives does not fit, but the manual will.

my leather case and all the papers that came inside of it are still sealed and not opened. the manual (got an extra one in germany) i actually keep in the leather pouch behind the front passenger seat. this way i can reach it easy if i need to. just put it in there with pages facing up and it fits perfectly (and easy to get to).

I keep mine in the rear seat center armrest. fits perfectly.

the 745i I looked at last week end . The owner stored it in the trunk under the navigation unit .

Thats what I do.

I did not get the manual with my car. Do you guys actually use the manual? this is my third car, I never read the manual.

try ebay first i didnt see any listed now but keep checking this link ever few days. this is your cheapest route.

Your really cheap route is to print out the owner's manual from the BMW Owner's Circle; moreover you can get it immediately.

true but who wants a printout, i know for me i like having the original with these sorts of things
