I have no photography skills whatsoever despite having a nice Canon SD550, so bear with me.

Judging by the wet spot on the steering wheel you enjoyed this a bit too much....

thanks all.

but of course as with every BMW I've ever bought, we leave for vacation that week, in this case, the next morning, so I can't drive it until I get back. Virgin Islands is good compensation though! And no, I won't post my garaging address.

Congrats Rashad, wish I was there with you... like we were in Munich.

This one is much prettier than the last imho. Plus, love those wheels!

thanks Gene.

I'm very happy with it.

Quick Q for you....Since I witnessed the "extreme" break-in of your M on the roads of Europe first hand....I have always been curious if your car has required any oil at your regular checks....Does it consume more than you thought it might?

No not at all. There has always been some discussion about break-in and babying your engine too much. I split the difference. I never went over break-in redline, but I didn't bother with the max speed limits. Thus the 140mph on the way to Regensburg.

But I'm real pleased with that. My e36 never used much oil, and the e46 is very similar. Too bad I can't say the same for fuel consumption. e36 was about 22 mpg in my normal driving, and I'm only doing ~ 15 in the e46.

Brings back delivery memories of not to long ago.

Be VERY carful with the care of the paint, it seems to swirl very easily.

WOHOOOO enjoy!!! It's my fav car so far.

I think Jonathan was my delivery specialist and he was excellent. Even is trying to get me a poster I requested.

So far, I averaged 59 mph for the trip and 26 mpg. Not bad. My last one saw a lot more boulevard time and hence the mpg was lower.

The paint came with ZERO swirls. I mean none. So when they appear, I'll know it's my fault.

Only two or three quibbles with the car. Since pic-up, there's a rattle near one of the rear speakers even with the subwoofer off. It's either the speaker or the deck. Also, the rear bumper was not properly housed in one of clips at the rear wheel arch. Looks like an easy fix.

Also, the brakes are LOUD at times. This I'll deal with since it is a known entity.

Do you notice a difference with the quicker steering rack? Do the wheels feel lighter and is the handling better with the ZCP rims?

I hate to admit it and actually owning the cars back to back and driving them in like conditions, but the ZCP definitely improves the way the car feels on initial turn-in. It might just be the 19 inchers on this car, but yes, there is a noticable difference.

Anthony, come by and I'll let you take it out!!
