E63 / E64 6 Series (2004 - 2010)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

M5 is wicked!

First let me say I am quite content with my car (05 645). However, I was driving down the freeway yesterday doing about 90 MPH in the fast lane. I checked the review mirror and I could see what looked like a bimmer off in the distance about 1/4 mile behind me keeping pace with my same speed.

And then, out of nowhere, the car goes to warp speed hops to the slow lane to get off at the next exit about a mile ahead thereby passing me at what seemed like 130-140MPH. I then got a blimpse of the M5 logo and new plates.

Sweet ride!

All of this action occured over a few seconds. I would love to test drive one of the v10 beasts sometime.

I know that feeling. I've raced an M6 about 1.5-2 months ago. We started from a 60km/h roll, i punched it first, got the jump on him only to see him fly by me giving me like 2 bus lengths or something like that untill 160-170km/h where i braked. That V10 wail is fantastic.

Smile You are right, it's wiccked

I just got my '06 M5 four days ago. It's awsome! I still love my 645ci, but the M5 (SMG, HUD) is a fun car to drive.

Nice! Assuming it's brand new whoever was driving the m5 wasn't following proper break in procedure. My brother just got his 06 black on black M5 yesterday. Dealer told him that he shouldn't take the car over 5500rpm or 100mph for the first 1,200 miles at which point you get your first oil change. Then you're not suppossed to go over 6500 rpm until the 3k mark. Lead foot in the M5 should chill out for a bit.
