Cool Redelivered!
34 days later...

Car was right up front (see picture) waiting for me.

We installed the umbrella and snap-in adapter and did the BMW Assist paperwork and off I went.

Both license plates present and accounted for. Vignette not present. (Glad I bought 2) No damage. Two of us checked the car thoroughly.

Great driving it back.

Hey congrats.. Picture looks good. Hope there was no scratch/dent.

Earlier you received the BMW paper saying BMW assist is going to expire. Did you take any action. I haven't. So now I am worrying whether it will actually expire and dealer will not be able to do anything.

I was only basing it on the fenderwell gap. You have the ZSP, right?

Sport package on the X is different as it retains of course the X-drive suspension. Hence there is a drop more gap.

Thanks. Car was perfect.

Re Assist, don´t worry it won´t expire. In fact, mine will expire in exactly one year from now.

What are the vignettes by the way?

A vignette is what you buy, translated it means sticker, for roads requiring a toll, both in Austria and CH.

Forgot to mention, it gained 8 km, was up to 2434 km, from 2426 when I left it. And with those 8 km, it crossed the Atlantic!

The umbrella is really the combination umbrella/umbrella holder that attaches to the tunnel on the passenger side. Really neat item and very handy.

The snap-in adapter is the adapter that supports charging and the external aerial for a mobile phone. It does not connect the phone to the car for operational purposes as that is handled by Bluetooth.

Congrats!. Wow, the weather up in NY looks really good. Clear Skies and Sunny!!. No snow either on the ground. Michigan is cold and gloomy!!
