Actually break in is 3200 miles. The first 120o miles is the initial portion.

so have you figured it out...or has you son figured it out?

I hate to be an ass...I'm not at all about being a jerk...but there has been threads about this...all over this forum...all you have to do is use the search....I know...I hate it too..but it works....well...sometimes...

and the reaction on this thread is amusing...it could have been a drop dead thread...even erased by the mods...had someone linked to something you could have used....but it's way much more fun to rip on someone than actually help them...

Break-in For M3
The proceedure for the break-in is on a sticker in the upper left hand corner of your windshield (inside). Just follow that---religously!! If you don't and something goes wrong, the BMW Techs will check the black box and see where you disobeyed them!!
