trust me, there isn't. listen to what myself and others tell you. if tom tells you there isn't one, there isn't one. if you want to get us a part number for AUX for 7er - go for it. good luck with that.

As for beta testers, we will probably need someone in the SoCal area so the kit can be monitored in-house.

Dension - where are you???

I keep waiting and waiting and listening through my crappy FM modulator. The Dension website still says late '05, then we heard March, then April. I'm sure someone at Dension knows when their release date is going to be. Is there anyone at Dension that talks with the software developers to know when this thing is going to be ready? It seems incredible to me, as someone who runs a software company, that they miss dates by months and cannot even provide a realistic date and deliver.

The kits have not even been released overseas yet, we still need to test here on US-spec vehicles beforehand, and we will report as progress is made. Even if the kit was released tomorrow - I would not consider it ready unless it was tested first here in the States.

We'll keep the forums posted as progress is made, we have even signed up a few forum members for beta testing when we reach that step.

You must be a Mac user, us Windows users are used to this.

Finally! We'll see which is ready first - BMW or Dension. BMW put a stake in the ground with their 'wide' release date of July, so my guess is that they will meet it (since they did a national press release). Ha!

Not true, Dension does not develop for BMW.

Mein Auto: M3 Conv 750i
BMW VODcast

I have my ipod hardwired to my M3 Conv with the Harmon Kardon premium sound and love it.

Have the 750i ordered for delivery July, am still dumbfounded that they won't let me ipod the 7 after all the fuss they made about BMW and ipod.

Just saw the VODcast on

http://www.bmwusa.com/bmwexperience/...ograms/Vodcast

I may be missing the small print but it seems they are clearly saying the 7 can be done.

My dealer told me the problem was that if nav was standard there was no aux port, and the demo shows it working through the idrive / nav system

Has anything changed or is this the new system they said might come ?
