Need Expert Advise.

Alright first off, im driving a 91' 525i... heres my problem

Last few weeks ive been dealing with an over heating issue.... turns out it was my thermostat went out... anywho when i took off the housing, i broke the original seal and it kept leaking...... got that fixed yesterday.... doesnt over heat what so ever anymore .... BUT, when i was taking my car from the shop..... I heard a noise.... noise i never heard before.......... it was comming from underneath my e-brake/shifter. Im GUESSING its comming from my tranny...... Its a cliking noise (sounds like metal on metal) when ever i accelerate..... when i go faster.... its goes faster..... doesnt make the sound really when i turn. Now it has NEVER made this sound before the heating problem.......... I thought i was low on tranny fluid... but i just filled it up and it still has an issue...... Does anyone have Any advise on what my problem is??? Gosh... one problem needs to another

I don't see any conection to the overheating. Did you ask "the shop" why your car is now making this noise? Perhaps they lifted it incorrectly or damaged something in the drivetrain.
Perhaps this model has the rubber coupling (guibo) after the tranny, and the shop "exercised it" a bit too much and broke it.
