I was looking at the color choices (maybe more will be added for later years):

only 4 exterior colors - TiAg, Sterling Gray, Black and Maldives Blue Metallic

only 2 top colors - black and dark beige (beige only available with black exterior)

only 2 interiors - black or beige with an optional Sycamore wood trim (which takes away from the sleek look of the interior)

Yea, I just checked it out. Whats up with the no SMG option on the 3.0 I thought the Z4 was going to get the SMG. What happened?

It was rumored to be 'possible' perhaps midway through this year, but more likely next year.
