Confession Time

While we had a good time at the 6erfest meet today, the FOUR of us who showed up are beginning to have some doubts that the rest of you claimed owners from Southern California are really real. So, here's your chance to confess. As Lawman will explain to you in the back room, confession is good for the soul. And since this is an anonymous Board, and the four of us who really have 6ers (or were able to borrow them today) know who we are, we don't have to know who you are.

So here's a poll. Tell us if you really have a 6er Bimmer or not and, if not, why you've been giving us all a line of . Since there are more than 10 choices I'm not setting up it like a poll, but you can answer one by one.

1. I was at the 6erfest but I couldn't find you guys. You said the Starbucks in the Pacoima Commons, didn't you?

2. I tried to get there but one of the tires on my 24 inch Radenergie wheels had an explosive blow out. It was not a runflat and I do not carry a spare, so I had to be airlifted back to San Diego.

3. I was too busy reading about all the mods I am going to make on the 6er I never drive to drive to Calabasas.

4. My Dad won't let me borrow his 6er until I am 18, and by then it will be a 5 year old car no one will want to drive.

5. There was a lock down in my dorm last night while the guards were looking for an escapee, and as a result I couldn't get out this morning.

6. The 6er I was going to hot wire at my dealer's was sold last night.

7. I don't really have a 6er.

8. I don't want to associate with a bunch of perverts who hang out on an Internet chat board about 6ers. I just like to contribute from cyberspace.

9. I was afraid Steve645 might be there with one of his big cigars.

10. You guys would all find out that I am a single 30 year old, blonde, blue eyed woman who is an ex Sports Illustrated bikini model who likes to hang out with a bunch of car nuts.

11. Malibubimmer is such a pain in the ass that I wouldn't show up even if he paid me.

12. I have several outstanding warrants and I was afraid Lawman would run a warrant check on me and arrest me.

13. I would have come, but I wanted to take up 2 parking spaces and I was afraid that you couldn't do that in Calabasas unless the MSRP for your car was at least $100,000.

14. I was too busy watching the Super Bowl pre-pre-pre-pregame show.

15. my personal airplane pilot has sundays off.

Sh!t, I'll be first. Yeah, I really do have one. Why didn't I show up?
1. Cobra was supposed to get Southern6er and then meet me. We were all to drive out together. They didn't show.
2. I mistakenly went by my local Starbucks at 10:30 - realized the meet was 10:30 PacTime, and didn't want to make an ass of myself by being more than socially acceptable late.
3. I was concerned that BM would fly in and, since I have no CF or 23" rims, I'd be the laughing stock.
4. I just knew -N- would skip church and the 2 extra parking spaces you guys had saved would be full.
5. Steve645 had the crew set the cameras up and the parking lot was totally full.

The parking lot was full but the one other lady who drove a 6 convertible didn't even know she drove one. She just thought she owned a cool convertible 2 door bimmer.

We saved enough spots for everyone but since no one else showed up, an Audi A4 Avant parked 2 spots away from me. Damn you, NEVERVANA!

Oh I can go way less cool. Ask my daughters about what I put them and their boy friends through. I would wear my Army RPGs to meet all the boyfriends. And shorts and tube socks with hi top sneakers. How bad do you want it to get?

That's exactly my plans when my daughter gets old enough to want to date. I have tons of embarrassing pics and I am not afraid to use them when she grows up. I am also going to be sharpening a lot of knives and polishing my guns when a boy comes to visit. I have a .45, a shovel and a big backyard....

I swear this 6 series forum is corrupt. 99% of the topics these days are just for arguing, debating, and BSing. If your going to post contraversial topics, fine, but I ask you! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Please post it in the proper forum! The 6 Series subforum is supposed to be 6 Series related, not the place you come to post if you own a 6.

Anyways, if anyone is posing I'm sure they don't mean any harm by it and just want to be part of the crowd. But still them for doing so.

A .45 Is for sissies. Get a 12 gauge son! Also, have some dummy fragment grenades hooked to your belt too.

Got 3 12 gauge shotguns and 2 .45s. It's easier to handle the shovel with a pistol in hand than the 12 gauge. Don't ask me how I know.

Dummy grenades? Too much collateral damage. Might hurt the drywall of the house. I prefer the simple pepperball or OC grenades. Ah heck, just good ole' fashioned pepper spray and a nightstick will do for most occasions.

Dude, it's a car forum, we know this, but who really cares? So what? Obviously if you're talking to someone or a group of people online on a daily basis your personality starts to come out. It's not intentional that many of our posts go off topic, it just happens. Like i said in today's world where people are dying in war everyday who gives a damn about our discussions in here going a bit off topic at times. They always come back to topic that the thread was started for.
