Question Tire Pressure Monitor Initiation

I have an '06 325i, and it has run-flats, as they all do. I followed the instructions in the owner's manual to initiate the tire pressure monitor system, but there was no confirm or anything. So my question is: how do I know if it initiated properly?

It has a "check" mark beside INIT for confirmation.

thats is correct the second instance that you push the stalk, the check mark should appear, indicating that its been reinitialized. Any significant reading from these tires as they rotate will trigger an dashboard alarm.

I had a false alarm with these indicators mind you while running non-RFT,
when i inspected and check all pressures and all indicated ok!
just an fyi.

I had a flute few miles after I put on the non-RFT, to think of it now, I may have not reinitialized it after switching tires,
and maybe the system were still thinking I had the other set of RFT on.
but after that now other problems with my non-RFTs.
Im not saying non-RFT will give you error/flute readings.
