Tech: How to extra wires in steering wheel

Does anyone know how to get a wire inside the steering wheel...
There's a black box with a rotation top behind the steering wheel,
it's used for the airbag control & multi-function steering wheel...

It is possible i think to order a new "black box"...one ment for a steering wheel with peadels.. they have extra wires...
Does anyone have experience with this, or do you guys know the part numbers etc?

=>>Why?<<=
I made a special foil to mount in my steering wheel...so i can use my multi-function buttons for diferent things.. like the BMW headunit .. and..my custom mp3 server...

Tnx !

Mein Auto: doesn't have rear fogs!
Check over at E46fanatics.com - there's been a few guys
with Step gearboxes who have retrofitted paddle-shifters.
They probably cover it in some detail in their writeups/DIYs.

I'll be adding the M3 SMG wheel as I get my car this week, hopefully. I can post pics of it installed, but to get a DIY and the install kit, makes the install a lot easier, you have to speak with VinceTopasBlua3. You can get his e-mail from his website @ http://www.bmw-paddleshift-retro.com/

This kit comes with everything you'll need for the install.

Thats sounds prety dumb if u ask me....it's not worth your safety !
I'm gonna mount the PS2 also in the car... but i'm gonna put the controller-sockets somewhere out of sight...
