BMW Website Lease Rates

What is going on with the website bumping up lease rates $100-$200/mo. on on '03 330's compared to '02s? Has the residual fallen that badly? Are interest rates up terribly? Is demand so high that BMW can just afford to do this? Why such a disparity? Your help in clarifying is appreciated!

There are no "programs" per se on 2003's, and now
the disparity will be even greater; see the announcement
that I just made regarding the 2002's.

They (simply stated) just want to move some product NOW...

(read: programs for 2003's will improve once the '02's are gone)

I understand that BMW is not running any programs for 03s until they clear out the 02s, however their website lease rates seem way above other quotes i.e. LeaseCompare.

What is the current money rate and 36 month residual for an 03 X5 4.4 with BMW?

Any help would be appreciated.

To add, how long does it usually take to clear existing end-of-year stock? Once that stock is cleared, should we expect to see programs that we have grown accustomed to?

The residual value for a 2003 X5 4.4i for 36 months through BMWFS is 60% for 15,000 miles per year.

The rates for 2003s are "standard rates", **NOT** "sales support rates".

The "standard" money factors are in the mid .002's +/- range.

November 1st we will have the real MY 2003 lease
programs to work with...



BMWNA has told us they want us to be sold out of 2002's
by the end of this month.

Btw, even the "standard" rates are similar to what used to be
"sales support", now that interest rates overall have dropped
so low...
