New to the Family

I recently purchased a 2001 325 CI from a acura dealer. When i pulled out the lot I realized several problems with the vehicle. First, the car has only 58,000 miles and was visually in great condition. Both the body and interior were in impecable. But here are the issue that i am currently having.

1-The body of the car shakes at high speeds (60mph-80mph)

2-Both signal lights and Right head light are not working appropiately. One day they turn on- then they won't. Then the left signal works, and the left headlight won't. In other words, the headlight and front signal lights are inconsistent.

3-When i go over a bump or pot hole, whether at slow-fast speeds, i hear like loose metal in the front or empty sound.

I have a warranty with the dealer and i took the car in for service just this past week, but my gut feeling told me that Acura Dealership would not be able to service my car correctly. It took them 12 days to return the car and the only noticeable change from the previously mentioned problems is that they gave me new brake pads, but they didn't reset the computer. I am going to cancell my warranty with them. I would appreciate any advise prior to taking it to BMW Service Center.

1) First start by inspecting your tire tread and looking for any abnormal wear. I would then have the wheels rebalanced. Could have a bent rim also. Worst case scenario would be some damaged suspension components like a control arm etc.
2) Sounds like you will have to track down some electronic gremlin.
3) This could relate to question 1 which leads me to believe your car may have been involved in some type of accident such as hopping a curb or it rear ended someone. I would recommend going to some trusted mechanic and having them put the car on the lift. Have the suspension suspension inspected (ball joints, tie rods, bushings, etc.) and go from there.
