Found these today. Looks Bentlyish the way the lights are set-in, but not in a good way.

There is one thing I can guarantee you in this life time:

The F01 will look nothing like that.

That's either a test mule for the E65 prior to the recent styling change or an E65 being used as mule to test powertrains, etc. for the upcoming F01.

nah...the headlights wont look like that. They always conceal the headlights/tailights on test mules so the public wont know what the car will look like. I bet that's a test mule before the 06 facelift came out.

What they really ought to be testing is their electric systems, don't feel like being another beta tester.

I'm actually thinking of getting a 7 at around the time the F01 will be in its 2nd model year. But, that picture above (not the test mule but the photo rendition)...don't you think the car looks too....slick?? Sort of Japan-essy, right? I mean, there's nothing wrong with being Japan-essy...if you're Lexus, but shouldn't the 7 series be just a bit more edgy and muscular, and not so....slick?? I don't know, just my opinion....

I mean, bring out a hideous Bangle butted beast, have everyone copy it and then come out with a knockout product while MBZ and Lexus are stuck with Bangle look alikes. At least Audi did not fall for that but MBZ definitely tried to top the E65 in hideousness. Of course, that's just my subjective opinion of all Bangle styled vehicles. Nothing personal.

Good thing that's just a mule. My next 7er will be at the official announcement of the new style. That way I can either go for the new if it's a winner, or reup on the old if it's a dud.
