325iT alarm install question

A buddy of mine has a 2002 325iT, and he wants to install an alarm. I have read up on this, and as far as I can tell, it will be ~$250-300. As well as there is some difficulty in installing the rear tilt sensor in the touring models. The sites that have been linked here before like http://m3.madrussian.net/diy_alarm.shtml
is M3 specific. I was wondering is there any difference in the PN# for the various sensors for a 02 325iT. Also can an AUX imput or OEM Ipod be installed easily on this model? It just has Business CD, non NAV. Thanks in advanced.

The alarm is the same as that for the sedan and coupe. List $300, which means available through internet specials or the like for $230ish.

Unfortunately, the easy E46 alarm installation on the other models, isn't on a Touring because of the tilt sensor which needs to be installed waaaay under lots of other stuff which must be removed first. I've never seen a DIY posted.
